Born in Oceanport, New Jersey, Faxon has had a remarkable career spanning over four decades as a player, commentator, and philanthropist. He attended Furman University, where he excelled as a two-time All-American and was awarded the Haskins Award in 1983 as the nation’s top collegiate golfer. Turning professional in 1983, Faxon quickly established himself on the PGA Tour, securing eight victories, starting with the 1991 Buick Open. He earned a reputation as one of the best putters in golf history, leading the PGA Tour in Putting Average multiple times. Beyond his on-course achievements, Faxon is actively involved in charitable work, co-founding Billy Andrade/Brad Faxon Charities for Children, Inc., which has donated millions to needy children. He resides in Barrington, Rhode Island, with his wife and four daughters.
