He is known for his roles in films and television, such as ‘Magic Mike,’ ‘Magic Mike XXL,’ ‘Spider-Man,’ and ‘True Blood’. Manganiello was a multi-sport athlete in high school. After a torn MCL curtailed his football career, Joe decided to audition for Carnegie Mellon’s School of Drama. He spent the next year honing his craft at the University of Pittsburgh and then re-auditioned and was accepted. He has been active in Hollywood for over 20 years. More recently, Manganiello appeared in the 2023 film ‘Magic Mike’s Last Dance’. He also announced an upcoming project called ‘Nonna’s’, which will be a comedy featuring Susan Sarandon and Vince Vaughn. His new comedy-thriller, ‘The Kill Room’ with Samuel L. Jackson, Maya Hawke, and Uma Thurman, is expected to hit theaters this Fall.
