Although Gotti was acquitted in 2005, the investigation damaged the label’s reputation. In later years, Gotti ventured into television, creating the BET series ‘Tales’ in 2017. He also made headlines in 2022 for publicly discussing his past relationship with Ashanti. Gotti sold 50% of his master recording rights to Iconoclast for $300 million in 2022.
