Thaddeus Rowe Luckinbill, born on April 24, 1975, is an American actor and producer. He is best known for his role as J.T. Hellstrom on the CBS soap opera ‘The Young and the Restless’ from 1999 to 2010, and he reprised the role in later years. Besides his work on ‘The Young and the Restless’, Luckinbill has appeared in several primetime television shows, including ‘Undressed’, ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, ‘CSI’, and ‘Nikita’. As a producer, he has been involved in films such as ‘Sicario’, ‘La La Land’, ‘Only the Brave’, and ’12 Strong’ through his production company, Black Label Media, which he co-founded. Luckinbill attended the University of Oklahoma, where he majored in business finance. He was married to his ‘Young and the Restless’ co-star Amelia Heinle, and they have two children together. Thad also occasionally plays for the Hollywood Knights basketball team.
