Jaswinder Singh Bains (born April 1, 1975), most famously known as Jazzy B, is an Indo-Canadian singer and songwriter of Punjabi music. He is often referred to as the ‘Crown Prince of Bhangra’. Born in Nawanshahr, Punjab, India, his family moved to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, when he was five years old. He began his musical journey in 1993 with his debut album ‘Gugiyan Da Jora’. Jazzy B has released numerous albums and singles, gaining international recognition for his contributions to Punjabi music and Bhangra. He has collaborated with several artists and has also appeared in films, showcasing his versatility as an entertainer. He is a big fan of the late singer Kuldeep Manak and even released an album, Maharajas, as a tribute to him, with Kuldeep’s son, Yudhvir.
