Born on August 6, 1956, in Los Angeles, California, Stepfanie’s career began in the late 1970s with guest appearances on shows like Starsky & Hutch, Dynasty, and Knots Landing. She graduated from The American Academy of Dramatic Arts/West. Her breakthrough role came in 1984 with Hunter, which aired for seven seasons and gained international recognition. Besides acting, Kramer is a singer-songwriter and has showcased her musical talents in several Hunter episodes. After leaving Hunter, she pursued music, and released her album, One Dream, in 1999. She has also written and directed for television and has appeared in several TV shows and movies. She was nominated for an Emmy in Special Class Programming and won the Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress Award.
