Robert Carlo “Boston Rob” Mariano is an American television personality renowned for his strategic gameplay and magnetic on-screen presence. He has appeared on several reality television shows, including Survivor and The Amazing Race. He won Survivor: Redemption Island, taking home the $1,000,000 prize. Before his reality TV career, Mariano graduated from Boston University with a degree in psychology. He worked as a foreman for a construction company and was the head coach for Boston University’s Inline Hockey Team. Mariano has appeared on Survivor multiple times, becoming a fan favorite and a notable figure in the show’s history. Rob and his wife Amber’s wedding was filmed as a two-hour special on CBS. Today, Rob runs Murlonio Productions and has released an advice book called “The Boston Rob Rulebook”. He has four daughters with his wife Amber Brkich Mariano. He also had a brief career as a professional poker player.
