Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former coach. He is currently the president of basketball operations and de facto general manager for the Boston Celtics. Prior to his executive role, Stevens coached the Boston Celtics from 2013 to 2021. Before joining the Celtics, he was the head coach at Butler University, where he led the Bulldogs to two NCAA National Championship games. Stevens grew up in Zionsville, Indiana, and was a standout basketball player in high school. He played college basketball at DePauw University, earning a degree in economics. After a brief stint at Eli Lilly and Company, he returned to basketball, joining Butler’s coaching staff as a volunteer. He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming head coach in 2007. In 2013, he made the jump to the NBA, signing a six-year contract with the Boston Celtics. After undertaking a rebuild early in his tenure, Stevens led the Celtics to the NBA playoffs every year from 2014 to 2021 and appeared in the Eastern Conference finals in 2017, 2018, and 2020.
