She is a pioneer in the field of sports broadcasting for women. Storm began her career in radio and transitioned to television, becoming the first female sports anchor on CNN. She later joined NBC Sports, where she was the first woman to solo host a network’s sports package, covering Major League Baseball. She has covered numerous major sporting events, including the Olympics, NBA Finals, and World Series. In 2018, she and Andrea Kremer became the first female duo to call an NFL game.
