Thomas Joseph ‘T.J.’ Thyne, born on March 7, 1975, is an American actor widely recognized for his role as Dr. Jack Hodgins, a forensic entomologist, botanist, and mineralogist, in the popular television series ‘Bones’ (2005-2017). Thyne’s journey in acting began early, with roles in local commercials and plays during his teenage years. He honed his skills at the University of Southern California’s School of Dramatic Arts, graduating in 1997. Before landing his breakthrough role, he appeared in numerous guest star and recurring roles on television shows and films, showcasing his versatility as an actor. Beyond acting, Thyne is also a producer and writer, contributing to short films and other projects. In 2001, he co-founded Theatre Junkies, a group offering workshops and professional development for actors in the Los Angeles area, reflecting his commitment to supporting aspiring artists. He has also appeared in NCIS, Chicago Med, Grey’s Anatomy and many other TV series and films.
